Stage 2 of the National Foreign Language Spelling Bee is now complete! The competitors had a list of 100 words to learn and they had to try spell as many words as possible using the French alphabet in just one minute. Fourteen pupils took part – and they all did brilliantly! All of their hard work has paid off and they should be very proud of their achievement.
Sadly, we can only take three competitors through to the next Stage
– a huge congratulations to Jagruti Lohit, Niamh Sanders and Owen Thompson, pictured below, who will now go through to the Regional competition at Stamford College in April.
