POST-16: EXAM CLASHES

By Mrs K Garnett21st May 2018

Exam Clashes

Some students will have noticed from their original timetables that they have exams scheduled on the same day in the same sitting.  The total length of these exams affects how they can be scheduled:
  • If the total time is 3 hours or less – you will sit the 2 exams one after the other with a short supervised break between them.
  • If the total time is more than 3 hours – you will sit the second exam in the morning or afternoon session that day.  In this instance you will need to be supervised between them and therefore will need to bring a packed lunch with you and possibly revision notes to work on for the duration of the lunch break.   You will not be able to use a phone or laptop during this break.
Any queries, please come to the exams office.
Thank you
Mrs Fitzgibbon
