We are so proud to announce that we were nominated for a
Hinckley and Bosworth Active Award and we WON!
The award is in the Wellbeing category and demonstrates BGLC’s
consistent focus on supporting students’ and staff wellbeing.
In school we have a huge array of support on offer, including our Pastoral Team, Mental Health First Aiders,
Teen Health, ELSAs, and Mindfulness & Meditation groups.
To have been nominated was a huge honour and to win is fantastic!

On 10th January 2024, 39 students from Years 11, 12 and 13 visited Warner Bros. Studios, London for ‘The Making of Harry Potter’. Students took part in a Post 16 ‘Script to Screen Workshop’ where they were given insights into the design processes of script writing and filmmaking. The day was amazing and also included the Warner Bros Studio Tour.
