BORNEO EXPEDITION 2025
In July 2025, 18 students and 2 staff will be travelling to Borneo. Whilst there we will be involved in project work to help local communities such as building classrooms, toilet blocks and working on environmental projects such as tree planting. Students have been fundraising individually to pay their way for the trip, but we are currently raising the money to pay for the bus to the airport. Anything extra we raise will be used to buy school supplies that we will give out to the local children.

World Mental Health Day 10th October 2024
BGLC staff and students wore yellow on World Mental Health Day! Students, Parents/Carers and staff donated money to YoungMinds, to show young people that they’re not alone with their mental health.

On 8th & 9th October, in order to fulfil the GCSE Geography exam board requirements, Year 11 students completed another field enquiry. The aim of this trip is to study flows in the physical environment, where students carried out a number of fieldwork skills in order to collect data to help with further investigations.
