What an honour for some of our students this morning to visit ‘SID’, a local war veteran who served during the D-Day landings. Sid, who lives in Ratby is aged 103!  He proudly showcased his memorabilia and told us some stories of his war days.  Sid sold his medals and donated the money to LOROS – such a touching thing to do.  We have a lot to learn from you Sid, and all who served.
