Year 12 students will attend work experience from
30th June – 4th July 2025
All Year students will achieve their Blue Enrichment Award by taking part in Work Experience in July. Students will find their own work placements, and use Unifrog to track their own progress and keep a record of important health and safety documents. The Post 16 team and our Careers Advisor, will support any student with finding a placement.
The cost for a student to take part is a £10 admin fee, payable through Arbor.
We believe strongly that work experience is of benefit to the students, it will encourage independence, develop confidence as well as giving a taster of the world of work.
The timeline from now until July is:

- Unifrog have created a set of guides about placements which you can find here.
- Within this set of guides, this is the best one to start with (it includes a short animation of how the whole process works).
- Next we recommend looking at this one, because it includes advice on how to find a placement.
