There is one vacancy being advertised at the moment:

Vacancy for a Member of Our Trust

Do you have an enquiring mind with the confidence to challenge decisions?
Do you enjoy working as part of a community?
Are you committed to the education and well-being of all young people?
Could you help us achieve our vision to be an outstanding 11-19 campus?
If so, we could offer you the opportunity to join our Trust as a Member of our Board.

Volunteering as a Trust Member is a great way to contribute to the local community and use your skills and experience to improve the lives of local children.

What is the commitment involved?
Attendance at the Annual General Meeting, usually held in January (meetings are held in the evening).
There is an expectation that you would also attend training as required.
The role of Trust Member is a public duty, and you should be entitled to reasonable time off to perform it (this may be unpaid). Check with your employer on your company’s policy.

What we offer
This is a voluntary role. Induction training is available and ongoing training, support and updates are provided.
You will also find further information about the responsibilities of trustees and the work of the Board at www.brookvalegroby.com. A link from the National Governance Association detailing the role of a Member of the Board can be found here.
